Breckenridge, Colorado is an amazing place to visit or live. The summers are cool and dry with lots of activities and sports. The winters are incredible for skiing and snow boarding. This condo is the perfect location for skiing any of the resorts, Breckenridge, Keystone, Copper, A Basin, Vail.
We have been skiing Breckeridge for 20 years and still love it. It is great for families and groups since all levels of skiing are all in one place. As for getting bored with one range, I don't think so. Even though ski conditions are almost always perfect by adding mother natures twists it is always a new adventure.
There are four mountains at Breckenridge to ski. Breckenridge now has Peak 7 open with a more apline style sking. Lots of rolling hills and glades mixed with some steeper dips. Mostly greeen and blue green skiing but still fun for more avid skiers. Peak 8 is more advanced with mostly blue and black diamonds, but there are a few green runs thrown in. What is nice is everyone can start on a green run and make sure the novices are doing ok and then better skiers can grab a blue or black off to the side and everyone meets again at the bottom. At the top of Peak 8 is also where you get the ride to the top. I think the best of the bunny trails on on Peak 8 and most of the ski school starts here. Peak 9 base starts at the Beaver Run Resort. This can be a crazy area with lots of people coming and going. But there are still a mixed of trails levels. Peak 10 is black single and double diamonds. There is also the bowl on the south side of nine the is black diamonds or you can cut east off the lift an go a more gentler slope through the trees. Both of these areas tend to be very bumpy and are not groomed.
Summer or winter, day or night it is always beautiful.
